A large grocery stor is only 5-10 minutes away. La Coccinella is out in the country but only 20 minutes or so to Assisi and Perugia. It is 2 stories with the upper story reserved for Giulios family when they need to get away. Right next door is another newly renovated structure. We had a great view from our terrace and the pool was just steps away. Nothing better than fresh vegetables with your meals. There is a large garden with a variety of vegetables and Giulio told us to help ourselves which we did. We weren't successful but we had a lot of fun watching Giulio try and coax Buffy into sniffing out some truffles. As I said, Giulio was a great host, even taking us out one night for a truffle hunt with his dog Buffy. We asked Giulio if there was a toaster and he immediately went out and got one (brand new I think). The bathroom was spotless and functional and the kitchen/ living room was roomy and furnished with everything necessary. One room with matrimonial bed and the other with 2 single beds. It is a detached, one level cottage with 2 bedrooms. We stayed in La Stalla, which had just been recently renovated. The accomodations themselves were exceptional. Giulio and his family were wonderful hosts, always attentive to our needs.
